That reaches the heart of the issue - will Intel's claims even pan out because if it still suffers hot bagging and delayed on/off, is the efficiency really there? I thnk they are just playing toe the paranoid souls like me that hate teh qquestion of incompatability, even if I am going to give 5g another shot...
Personally I hate compatibility issues, but, I think the best way to solve them is to push us into ARM architecture and force developers to adapt support. I would love to see x86 die off completely. So, if I ever go back to Windows, it won't be on Intel.
