So, I bought the Microsoft Teams dock back when woot had that sale, and it's been fine. I wish it had at least one more USB-A port than the one it has, but the port I'm finally getting full use out of is the USB-C with display out.

When I first got the dock, I tried it with a portable external monitor, but it didn't work, even if I added another cable to power the monitor, so that was the end of trying to use that port.

But, guess what....it drives the xreals just fine! So I can plug the xreal into the teams dock and have an extra monitor on my face while still getting mouse, keyboard, charging, and the big speaker. This is especially neccesary as most of my devices have a single USB-C port (fold, galaxy tab, ally). If it's plugged into a windows/linux machine, it'll additionally drive the external monitor over HDMI. It's looking like my monitor will be passed down to a kid soon (the middle kid has reached his "big boy" desk set up birthday), and honestly, I'm pretty happy with how dex looks in the xreals. Bonus, it keeps my lurking husband from making comments about the cat photos in my facebook feed everytime he walks by.
