And this is me day two. I don't really need the cheat sheet anymore. But as you see I am far from proficient. I think I like this tilt angle, at least when standing at the counter in the visitor center where I volunteer. I might like something different when I return home to my desk chair (500 miles away and not for another two months or so). We'll see.
OMG this makes me feel like such a dinosaur. I would not know where to start with that keyboard (and I'm a decent typest on my standard QWERTY's). I'm planning on using my old Slate 500 Bluetooth keyboard on the Fold.
I love the idea of those keyboards. I don't know that I could ever use them. I am too tied to my normal layout. I do have a split keyboard, but it's quite large. Also, those wrist angles ...
It's a hobby experiment. I wouldn't be doing this if I still relied on my keyboard for my livelihood. 😸
The angle attachment has a huge range of adjustment and is of course removable. I have no idea if I'm going to use it or not and at what angle. It's an adventure!
I've spent two weeks going down the rabbit hole at both r/ErgoMechKeyboards and r/KeyboardLayouts and decided that as long as I'm forcing a weird keyboard on my old brain I may as well learn a new, better layout as well. I've typed with the Dvorak layout for 42 years. Things are much more scientific nowadays and I am going to try one with a letter on a thumb key. Fun!
Edit: BTW, I've been using a Kinesis Advantage 360 Pro for over a year and a half, so I'm already part way there.
I've been using a Kinesis edge for the past 3 years, but I still just use qwerty and like all my extra keys. I'm sure I could get used to something new, but I don't know that I want to take the time to do so. Especially when I also use the iPad Pro MK regularly.

And here I am stuck with my Microsoft Sculpt keyboards.

Woah, that looks really awesome! I hope the keyboard experimentation goes well! 😀
