Best Buy is getting rid of the signature keyboard + pen combo. Amazing deal. I'd been looking for a second pen, so I just bought this combo, open box excellent for $69. Nice indeed! Deal here.
4 days past my TotalTech exteneded return window, the trackpad stopped working. Yay. I'm going to troubleshoot a bit more, but I'm afraid this will require a GeekSquad visit. I was really enjoying the pretty blue and the insane slimness of the overall package.
The cheap price is likely to clear out the old stock of keyboards. On the commercial side, they phased out all the Pro 9 keyboard cover SKUs in favor of the newer Pro 10/11 Keyboard SKUs which have less color options and just add the co-pilot button.
Wow! Thanks for the heads up. I keep thinking if I had the keyboard, I might be inclined to use the Pro X more often. This is the right price to give it a go, especially if I can find an open box close by.
The pen-garage in the keyboard is key to the Pro X. The pen is always with you, easily available and fully charged. It's a "game changer" (hate that phrase!🙄) for the Pro X.
I wouldn't call it "easily available" now that I've been using it and the duo 2 again. I have to open the keyboard to get to it vs my samsung tablets where it's stuck on the back, or the boox tablets where it's magneted to the side, or the yoga where it's IN A SILO!
But it is nice that it's always charged when it's in the keyboard so there's no "surprise, your pen won't work" incidents.

Samsung's "screen write" function is perfect for annotating emails or correcting drafts. I find I use it all the time.
