Jut got an e-mail update on this, and the pre-launch Kickstarter page is up:

but no word yet on timeline (I guess nothing will move until after New Year's celebrations are over).
Very hopeful of this and planning on buying one for myself and three as gifts for developers I've been working with.
It does raise an interesting idea --- make a case for the the case which would also hold a Wacom One 13 Gen 2....
