Interesting. I'm wondering why one would choose something like this over just getting an Android tablet. If one if hoping to revive older hardware, I would think a full featured Linux would be a more useful choice, but more folks are used to Android these days. I wonder how it would compare to experience of using ChromeOS flex. In any case, it's inspired me to set up Waydroid on my Galaxybook 12.
Waydroid has resulted in a very interesting experience similar to Dex. I can run Waydroid full screen on the built in screen while the regular ubuntu desktop runs on the external monitor as the primary display. I have access to all the usual linux apps on the big screen, and all the android apps on the built in display.
